In putting our list together, we have drawn on contacts with growers that have been established over many years. The wines have been chosen because they fulfill absolutely the three essential criteria that we look for in every wine that we offer:

1 They are a true expression of their grape variety and geographical origin.
2 They represent good value at their level.
3 They are wines we want to drink, not just taste.

In all cases, our wines come from producers we have known for many years, and whose commitment to quality is both firmly established and widely recongnised. Our intention is that they should form the backbone of a range of wines which is regularly available; our hope is that they will become firmly established in your affections, and that you will make them central to your regular drinking.
